We have had some consumers and Installers contact us about a small issue they are experiencing with damage behind door handles in the door cup area of the vehicle.
Problem
After install a customer may or may not experience 'bubbles' or small damage behind the door handle in the door cup area.
Possible Solutions
The first thing to check is to make sure that ClarityCoat clear coat is being mixed at the proper ratios. If ClarityCoat clear coat is not mixed properly, it can in some cases cause the product to be slightly softer, making it easier to damage those high touch areas.
The second solution with high touch areas if the above has not worked is to install a piece of PPF (paint protection film) in that door cup area to prevent further damage.
